Extended highlights are now available from Tuesday's enthralling Australian Open doubles quarterfinal between the Australian duo of Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios and the German-New Zealand pairing of Tim Puetz and Michael Venus.
The match, which took place at Melbourne's Kia Arena, was a rollercoaster of emotions, with both teams producing some stunning tennis in front of a packed crowd.
Kokkinakis and Kyrgios, who have been in impressive form throughout the tournament, took the first set 6-3 before Puetz and Venus fought back to win the second 7-6 (7-5).
The match then went to a deciding third-set tiebreak, with Kokkinakis and Kyrgios eventually prevailing 10-8.
The victory means that Kokkinakis and Kyrgios will now face the top-seeded pair of Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic in the semifinals.
The semifinal match is scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 27th, at 7:30 pm local time.
